She is the author of a series of stories for adult learners of Irish published initially by the internet publication BEO!, and (with Gordon McCoy) of the book Taisce Focal, Little stories for big people (2007) which resulted from that series. She co-edited Gaelic-medium education provision: Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man (2003) and Bás in Éirinn — May You Die in Ireland (2011). She transcribed, translated and edited the Ulster folklore material collected by Wilhelm Doegen in the 1930s, which is the basis of Ulster Gaelic Voices, Bailiúchán Doegen 1931 (2010). Ceol Leat!, a collection of songs and rhymes for young children was published in 2016.
